During a night time installation on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December, a team from Collis Civil Engineering successfully installed the first application of the Collis Engineering Volute Pile system. The Volute Pile system is a rotational pile where the design is based on the bearing pressure of the undisturbed soil. The piles were inserted, a grillage attached and the signal post erected in 2.5 hours, much to the satsifaction of the client. More news will appear here shortly.
