As part of the Nottingham re-signalling project, cantilever NN4016 was successfully installed just outside of Nottingham station.
The Cantilever, manufactured entirely by Collis Engineering Ltd, provided unique challenges to overcome due to its sheer size. The 3 track structure was 10 metres in height, with a boom span of 12.5 metres weighing approximately 12 tonnes.
