One of the standout features of the LED SARI is its approval for the full BR1651/1 Alphanumeric character set. Each singular character was independently tested and approved, demonstrating the product’s compliance with stringent rail industry standards. In addition, the product passed the new Signal Phantom test (GK/RT0057), designed to assess performance against the phantom signal effect, ensuring clear visibility and preventing any unintended signal displays.
The LED SARI delivers optimal readability, achieving Category 2 (250m) visibility in both day and night conditions, making it reliable for use in diverse lighting environments. This high level of readability, combined with its anti-phantom performance, ensures that signal clarity is maintained in all operational conditions, enhancing safety and efficiency across the railway network.
The LED SARI features a newly designed case with dimensions of 600mm (W) x 700mm (H), which allows for each individual character to be displayed with maximum clarity. This new design ensures that the alphanumeric characters are easily readable from a distance, contributing to the product’s exceptional overall performance.
Like other products in the Signal House indicator range, the LED SARI incorporates the highly successful LED Illuminator (0086/001285). This illuminator combines an industry-accepted LED light source with fibre optics, providing a reliable, energy-efficient solution that meets the demands of modern railway signalling.
